Hi U-meleni, I hope this email finds you well. Dunamis would like to offer you a slot at our second annual upcoming outdoor arts festival, JP Porchest! We are a Boston-based non-profit devoted to building a community of professional competent emerging artists and arts-managers. Dunamis is run by millennial artists-of-color with formal training in arts-management, music business, sociology, and education. We are looking to work with artists in the Boston area and help guide them on a clearer path to success. After seeing your work on Instagram and listening to some of your performances, we feel that you would be a perfect fit for Porchest, an annual community event where artists and community members meet together to enjoy the stylings of some of the best artists that the Boston area has to offer. The date is Saturday, July 13th (with a rain date set for July 14th in the event of bad weather) from 12 - 6pm at 12 South St, Jamaica Plain, MA (the Loring Greenough House). We can discuss your needs for the performance, how long of a set you want to play, if anyone will be accompanying you, and anything else you have questions about! The event is free, so you can bring whoever you want, and we hope to attract as many community members as possible. We hope you’ll come join us to perform, show the community who you are as an artist, and work with you down the road. Please let us know if you’d be interested in performing at Porchfest, and we discuss further any questions you have! Additional information on Porchest can be found on their website: https://jpporchfest.org Additional information on Dunamis can be found on our website: https://www.dunamisboston.org Best, Neo Gcabo
Thanks so much for dropping into our little basement gathering of VSOP poets and showing us how it's done. It was a fantastic surprise. Your words, polish and ferocity are moving and inspirational. Sam Hewitt, Essex Junction, VT
