As a global citizen, world traveler, and multitalented artist U-Meleni brings a global eclectic sensibility and holistic approach to the art of personal styling and creative consulting for brands with social causes. Her artistic sensibility brings a creative knack for thinking outside the box and crafting something beautiful. Her career in Fashion Merchandising began at the World Famous Filenes Basement in Boston, MA . In the early 2000's she was the youngest Department Manager of Intimate Apparel! There she partnered with Women & Men's Apparel and was involved in the planning and execution of the "running of the brides". ( Vera Wang wedding for $99 what a steal!) She was also a model for local fashion show namely House of Nahdra, Haitian Brothers Networking Nationwide ( HBNN) , as well as for students/professionals at New England School of Photography and beyond.
In 2014 she was a featured Fashion Designer at Boston's Greenfest, and produced the " fire collection" from upcycled materials and finds in partnership with Savers.
2021 : Her most recent fashion experience has been as Costume Stylist for Memoirs of a Black Girl, boston based film written and directed by Thato Mwosa. This was her first feature film and the film has won numerous awards and will be streamed worldwide October 5, 2021!
