 I WAS ONE OF THE KEYNOTE SPEAKERS..to a room of 200 people committed to supporting immigrants and it was indeed an honor.Keynote speakers include Distinguished Professor of History, Robert Forrant, and U-Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo M.Ed. B.A…  My speech was based on my experience as an educator for the past 18 years in diverse settings, being first generation, native and immigrant, end my educational pedagogy! The day will also include Suitcase Stories and informative sessions from statewide and local entities such as MIRA: Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition, and others.
