Panel Discussion – The Relationship Between Trauma, Art & Resilience, panel discussion featuring Angela Counts, Umeleni Mhlaba-Adebo and Allison Maria Rodriguez, moderated by Dell Marie Hamilton will take place at the Ellison Campus Center at Salem State University. Panelists will speak to how their art practice, working in community, mission and purpose has enabled them to integrate all the parts of who they are. They will discuss the relationship between art and trauma and how artists channel and learn from their experiences so that they are more than victims or survivors. This event is held in conjunction with Hamilton’s solo exhibition “All Languages Welcomed HERE“.Thursday, February 7th from 4pm – 5:30pm
